How does it work?
Google AdWords allows you to bid on a position at the top of the Google results.  You bid on individual keywords, and you only pay Google AdWords Advertising when a potential customer clicks on your ad and visits your website.  Keywords are words or phrases we choose that can trigger your ad to show at the top of the Google search results. For example, if you deliver fresh flowers, we could use “fresh flower delivery” as one keyword in your AdWords campaign. When someone searches Google using the phrase “fresh flower delivery” or a similar term, your ad might appear next to Google search results. Each time a person clicks on your ad, you will pay Google a small amount for that lead. This Cost Per Click (CPC) is determined by many factors, and my job is to determine which keywords will bring you new business leads for the lowest Cost Per Click. The majority of the AdWords campaign setup is done up-front, but it also takes some time to optimize the keywords and ads each month. This monthly work consists of tasks such as removing low performing keywords/ads, adding “negative keywords” to block unwanted traffic, optimizing to increase the conversion rate and reduce the cost per click.

There is no contract and you are welcome to change your budget or cancel at any time if you feel your campaign is not improving your business. We will send reports periodically to help determine if the campaign continues to be worthwhile.

Is Google Adwords Advertising worth it?
Google Adwords Advertising is an extremely effective form of advertising for most businesses. However, there are some cases where it is not beneficial. The great news is that Google Adwords is scalable, flexible, and the results are easily track-able. We will know usually within the first 1-2 months if the campaign is a worthwhile investment. Furthermore, Google Adwords instantly brings new customers to your website, whereas Blog & Social Media Campaigns focus more on increased visibility & brand recognition, and long-term SEO benefits.
The benefits of Google Adwords are determined entirely by two factors: the Cost per Click of your ads and the average profit you make per new customer. Let’s say that just 4% (or 1 out of every 25) clicks on your ad convert to an actual customer. If the average cost per click is $3, then you effectively spent $75 for that new customer. Now, these conversion rates and cost per click prices vary greatly between industries, but this is how we determine if your campaign is worth continuing.
